Although it is possible to duplicate widgets in a dashboard or page, it is not possible to copy it to a different dashboard or page. This would be useful for prototyping or testing widgets in a dashboard before adding them to user facing pages, also saving time and effort of configuring them again (maybe a number of times).

Functionality description:

The "Duplicate" action item in the widget ellipsis menu allows a different page (as permitted) to be selected as a "destination".

If the same "destination" page is selected, then it acts just like the "Duplicate" action.
