Today, any end user who has logged into the Port platform continues to count as a seat for 4 months after their last activity, even if they are deleted or disabled. We would like the ability to configure this inactivity window per account (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 days instead of 4 months).
Why this is important:
Helps us align seat counting with our internal security and access-review policies
Reduces manual work to reconcile “real” active users vs. billed seats.
Gives us more control and transparency over license usage and cost.
Requested behavior:
Add an organization-level setting to define the inactivity period after which a user no longer counts as a seat.
Default can remain 4 months, but admins should be able to configure it (e.g., 30/60/90 days).
