Feature ideas

Introduce a feature in Port allowing individual developers/members to customize their own homepages, in addition to the existing global homepage customization option.

To define permissions covering that would cover all underlying pages.

Adding Tabs to dashboards would allow for logical organization that would avoid needing to create multiple dashboards or one long complex dashboard. Example: a dashboard for Deployments where there is a tab per Environment.

Add support for breaking down by property in a pie chart for calculation properties, scorecards, and scorecard rules

As for now the API route for pages and Sidebars are very complex (and it's still in beta), we need to have a better implementation for it

On the homepage, provide the ability to create a list of favorite entities for convenient navigation.

Currently, colours can only be designated to descrete enum and calculation values. It would be great if the colours instead could be assigned based on JQ logic. For example: The number of ready pods should be coloured green if the number of ready pods is equal to or higher than the numer of desired pods.

It would be useful to show data from multiple blueprints in a single chart based on property with the same name or based on number of entities per each blueprint. An example is: we have blueprints for Car and Plane entities with properties (along with other properties) called "number of passangers" and "owner". Then we would like to visualize number of cars and planes in a single pie chart with "breakdown by property" set to owner or "number of passangers". This chart would then show us how many means of transport each owner owns.

It would be nice to be able to edit the mentioned things via a JSON editor instead of having to use the UI. This would make it easier to copy over repeated patterns of dashboards or restore backed up JSON data.

We want to be able to filter a dashboard according to a timedate property so it will show only the last 3 days. The current predefined options are either use static dates, or choose between in the past day or in the past week. We want to be able to select the number of days in the past or in the future when relevant.
